OUTRIGHT VICTORIES IN QLD AND VIC

Rounds one and two of the Australian Kart Racing Championship have been the domain of Alex Ninovic, the 14-year-old from Sydney keeping his winning streak on track!
Outright victories in Qld and Victoria, round 3 is scheduled in SA, late April at the Bolivar Circuit. Having never raced at the Adelaide venue, the father and son team drove 1400km to race in a pre-championship event gaining valuable experience with Kart set up and track knowledge.
Yet again Alex Ninovic showed the locals how it’s done. Taking the coveted number one trophy after four qualifying heats then starting the final from pole position. On the last lap the lead changed four times, Alex using his superior race craft to set up a brilliant passing manoeuvre, crossing the line in first place. Alex acknowledged his competition saying “The final was very challenging, I had to push really hard to take the win”
Alex attributes his karting success to PCR for providing their winning equipment, his dad Sash for tuning the Kart and for all his supporters that provide motivation.
Like any form of Motorsport costs need to be managed, with a National Championship up for grabs Alex knows every dollar must be accounted for. Aware of the business side of things, young Alex is in the process of developing a website.
Alex says “having a high-profile platform to communicate our teams’ results, sponsor opportunities, general information about karting, this allows us to engage with the market”.
